FAITH

What is Faith?  Faith is the ability to believe that something will come even when you see no evidence of it coming.  Have faith and you will go far.  Listen.  Believe.  Do everything with faith and optimism.  Look at things in a positive way, rather than a negative way.  Believe.  Faith is the sister to belief.  They go hand in hand, complimenting and connecting each other.  Without one, there cannot be the other.   In the moments when you feel like you want to give up, that is when you must hold on and have faith and believe that what you desire is coming to you.  It is easy to lose patience and give up on your hopes and your dreams, but if you allow faith to direct your life, you will be able to wait it out until your hopes and dreams come to fruition.  You never know what waits around the next corner.  That is the excitement of life.  When one segment of your life comes to an end, have faith that a bright new beginning is on the way.  Do not live in regret or sorrow for the ending, but live in faith and hope for a new beginning.  There will always be a chance to grow with each ending.  Learn your lessons and move on.  Faith will carry you to your new destination and belief will be your companion.

The Compass Within

It is important to listen to your inner voice.  Your inner voice is the voice of Spirit and your higher-self, connected to Spirit, that guides you.  This is your navigator.  Your compass.  Your means of travel through this physical space.  It is also your means of travel through the spiritual space.  You are always connected.  When you feel disconnected, it is then when you must go within through meditation and prayer and ground yourself.  Daily habits will keep your connection strong.  You will feel this connection if you open yourself up to it.   Developing a daily routine of meditation, preferably first thing in the morning, will allow you to keep in touch with your higher self.  You will find direction and guidance waiting to be downloaded to you.   Listen for the messages that will guide you and protect you.  Do not let ego get in the way and keep you from receiving your messages.  Stay open.  Stay faithful.  Stay hopeful and….listen.

Heaven on Earth

Your life is what you make of it.  Heaven or Hell.  It’s all about perspective, and your view is the ruler of your life.  Keeping thoughts positive and viewing experiences from an optimistic perspective rather than a negative perspective, will create the life that you want.  The nuisances of life occur to help you learn and grow.  Choosing to see the lesson in each nuisance will help you to improve yourself and in turn your life.  Make the conscious decision to choose to focus on the positive in every situation.  If you look deep enough, you will always be able to find something positive.  It takes practice, but with time you will be able to do so effortlessly.  Keep an open mind – one that allows for ease of expansion and an ease of what you want in your life.  Change the way you look at your life and watch your life change.

ACCEPTANCE

I kept hearing the word “Acceptance” in my head this morning.  “Acceptance”.  “Acceptance”.  “Acceptance”.  Acceptance is much easier in the long run than Avoidance.  Sure…it’s easy to avoid.  It’s a matter of habit.  We have all had the habit of avoidance at one time, or many times, over and over again in our lives.  A habit is merely an ingrained exercise/action that becomes natural and second nature with time.  If we can make negative actions habits, we can definitely make positive actions habits to replace their negative counterparts.  So accept the past.  Accept the present.  Accept the here and now.  It is what it is.  Cliché, but true.  Nothing is promised in this life – not your next breath, good health, a relationship, a long life.  All we have is here and now.  The present.  Be mindful in the present.  Let go of the past.  Accept what was lived – good or bad – and release it.  Let it go.  It can do nothing for you in the here and now except haunt you with its memories.  It will keep you chained in bondage, if you let it.  It will remain your ghostly friend, forever by your side, if you allow it.  Accept its lessons.  Accept its growing pains.  Accept its negativity.  The negativity that allows you to sift through, accept and change your perspective to see in a positive way.  Accept who you have become and who you are in this moment.  Cling to the positive aspects of you and your life.  Face the truth and release it.  It is what it is….but it doesn’t always have to be.  Accept it.  Change it.  Embrace it.  Move beyond it.  Become the you that you always dreamed of being.  The only thing keeping you between this you and that you is avoidance…..and acceptance.  Live Laugh Love.

Conscious Evolution

Many people go through life on auto pilot.  They allow their thoughts and emotions to arrive and take over automatically without any conscious control of them.  Evolution of a person occurs in the same way.  You have the power to consciously evolve.   It takes a little preparation and practice, but it is necessary to live an enriched life of continuous self-improvement.    Taking a self-assessment a few times a year is the way to start consciously evolving.   You really need to take an honest look at your life.  Resist the urge to be in denial when looking at yourself and your life.  Make a list of what’s working and what’s not working.  Assess the areas of your personality and habits that need improvement and then let the list sit for a few days.  Go back to the list and create goals to improve the areas that need improvement.  This is the beginning of conscious evolution.  Be mindful.  Be honest.  Be clear.  Be persistent.   Conscious evolution takes constant practice, but with practice things become easier.  You can change any thought pattern or habit by being mindful, setting goals and being persistent.  Choose to consciously evolve and you will grow to be the best you yet!

New Beginnings

New beginnings are a way to restart – to begin again.  Wipe the slate clean.  Time to clean up old habits – emotional and physical.  Start with your diet.  Take a good look at your diet and see which areas need to be improved.  You don’t have to do anything drastic.  Making small changes will ensure greater success and will keep you from feeling deprived.  It’s simple and doesn’t have to be overwhelming.  If you normally eat two pieces of pizza for dinner, cut it down to one piece and add a healthy salad.  With time, you will be able to tweak your diet easily.  Next, look at your thought processes.  Clean up any negative thinking habits.  This is something that takes continuous practice, especially if it is an ingrained habit.  You need to be conscious at all times.  You need to be able to realize the negative thought and in the moment of awareness make the choice to improve it with a positive thought.  Doing a little leg work can be helpful.  Make a list of all the things that you appreciate in your life as well as a list of things that just put a smile on your face.  Carry this list with you at all times and when a negative thought raises its ugly head, pull the list out and read it.  Continue to read it until the negative thought has passed.  If you continue to do this on a repeated basis, you will soon see how easy it becomes and that you won’t need your list anymore.  It will become automatic.  Take this opportunity of a new beginning to birth a new you.  You will be happy that you did!

NOW

Worry gets you no where.  The only thing worrying does is rob you of the happiness of NOW.  Your reality is NOW.  Be mindful in your NOW.  The past is gone.  The only thing that you need to bring from the past are the lessons learned so that you can apply them to your present and future.  The future is before you and you aren’t promised it.  You never know when the tide of life will change.  Live in the present moment.  Live in the NOW.  Now is when your dreams come true.  Now is when you live your life….This very moment.  Now.  There is so much to experience in the now.  Make a goal for the future, but live in the NOW.  Consciously evolve and improve as an individual each day of your life.  Meditate and focus daily.  Allow the peace of the meditation permeate throughout your day.  Now is the time to live your life.  Be mindful of the NOW.  Let go of your fears and your worries and let God take them over.
